Everything was nice! My Single Room was Comfortable and the Location place the Break-Fast was Very Nice for me. Is a Good "HOTEL" and I can Return there very Soon!

I booked a Single Room. When I arrived there, the Room was divided for Four People, like a Hostel. "I BOOKED A HOTEL". Was Necessary I pay mo Cash for I to Complete My "Stay" there.. at Night and at the Middle of Weekend. If I do not had have more Cash, I will look Myself with Trouble.

Lovely room, we were very comfortable!

The view was incredible! Room was very big and comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped

A little bit cracked and grubby in places, unavoidable but the restaurant attached was closed for refurbishment on our visit

Nice place, annoying online check-in.

Great location and decor, good value for money.

Having to download an app to do an annoying check-in (including adding ID card number) which it says is essential before arriving. We never saw that it busy at the check-in desk anyway. Also only 2 pillows on a double bed.

Beach front

Beautiful location and very helpful staff who were able to move me from a top bunk to a single bed after I spoke to them about an injury I had.

The house keeping was confusing, no set place to put your towel that matched with your bed (so no one got confused with towels), no one came to make my bed (as expected) but one day all my things were moved and my bed was made. Very confusing.

We come to Brighton every year and we will definitely come again!

It was very specious! The room was always at the right temperature for me and my boyfriend! When we got into the room we noticed the bathroom and how lovely and well decorated it looked. In the room with the table there was a kettle, with tea bags, milk, sugar, coffee etc, which was nice in the mornings! The cleaners regularly cleaned the rooms while we were out which was nice, the breakfast in the morning was great too! We had to pay £8 per person at the front desk only because I thought I picked it as an option while booking but I didn’t! The staff were lovely too always made us feel welcome, check in wasn’t until 3pm and we got there at 11am the staff held onto our lounge in a locked room so they were safe until check in!

We were in room 106 and the light in the room when you walked in was connected a light in the room by the bed, the light by the bed started flickering and then it stopped working, it was on but it was dark and flickering. So we couldn’t turn the main hall lamp on in fear it would break even more. we let the hotel staff know and they got ahold with someone but the person didn’t come to fix it during our stay but the staff were quick to try and sort the issue out!

Nice place for solo traveller!

Great location, close to bus and train station. Clean room and great co working space! Free luggage storage was very handy for the day I checked out. Very friendly staff. Lovely vibe

The Wifi didn't reach the room I was in. There was no socket or reading light in the bunk bed (I was on the top bunk).

Great location, friendly staf.

Location was great and staff were lovely.

Vinyl/wooden floors, meaning that every step in rooms and corridors was noisy, even when people are trying to be quiet. I removed my shoes as I returned late, but most didn’t even consider it.

My go to place for a stay in Brighton.

This was my second stay at Selina, great as always. The location can't really get any better and the service is great - I did ask for a few extras and all were made possible right away. My go to place to stay in Brighton whenever I travel by myself. Preston Street, where it's located at has some of the best restaurants in town as well.

The regular price is a bit high given it's only a shared 4 bed dorm room with no breakfast included. It's okay when it's on sale though if you book in advance :)

Excellent location and friendly staff

Excellent location in terms of access to beach and water sport activities. Well connected to also restaurants and central Brighton from the nearby Waitrose bus stop. Super friendly staff and was flexible in terms of late check out, leaving luggage at reception etc.

Very Good

I just like everything about Selina Brighton. In the morning i grab a coffee and towel, cross the road and im on the empty beach, admiring remains of the old burned pier, blue water and the sound of pebles moving by waves :) swimming alone... Breakfast is always delicious, chill study zone feels so comfy and homey :) and my most favourite thing sbout Selina is - PRIJA hair and body products, and that Selina is following the sustainable standards.

Nice location but that's about it

Amazing location right by the beach

I was expecting more. I have been wanting to stay in the Brighton Selina for a while now, having visited other Selinas around the world. It was a little underwhelming. I had to work remotely for two days, but the main restaurant was closed and the only place was a stuffy and hot coworking area in the back. The breakfast was limited but good. The rooms are simple and feel a little outdated. Windows did not open. The vibe generally wasn't that of other Selinas, not lively or welcoming. I stayed there on some hot summer days. The coworking bar and hotel reception did only have warm fizzy drinks and no ice. Everything felt like they are treating it without love or care.

Don’t let 1st impressions put you off! Great room in a great location!

Sea facing superior room was excellent! Lovely decor, great view, comfy bed and really spacious . The hotel is also in a great location

Poor 1st impression - the restaurant at the front (separate business to the hotel) is closed and therefore makes the hotel look closed and shabby. The reception and communal stairs/lift had a feel of a high-end hostel rather than a hotel -so we were worried about the room but didn’t need to be - it was great!

the place is really nice and with a lot of plants and the fact that it's in front of the beach it's a bonus, the staff was also friendly and helpful. i didn't have breakfast but from what i've seen it looked good.

i just didn't like that i could hear the trucks unloading garbage, stones and glass or whatever that was, the sound was extremely loud and would always wake me up around 5AM till like 9AM... you can also kinda hear the cars and people in the street. and i also think that is too expensive.
